Mother’s Day 2020: Where to get fancy take-out throughout Pierce County
In a normal year, we’d pick out mom’s favorite Pierce County restaurant for Mother’s Day and make a reservation. There would be mimosas aplenty, a brunch buffet or maybe a steak-and-lobster feast with doting table-side service. These aren’t normal times. Pierce County restaurants remain closed for in-person dining due to Coronavirus-related gathering restrictions, which means restaurants will take a serious hit this year financially. Dine-in service on Mother’s Day is a big revenue generator for restaurants, so this is one more blow to local restaurants at a time when they really need our support.
If you’re able to afford a take-out meal right now, there is one way to help restaurants. Order Mother’s Day takeout from a Pierce County restaurant. Here are restaurants with Mother’s Day offerings. I’ve provided links to menus below. Restaurant owners – do you want to be included in my story? Email me all the details at firstname.lastname@example.org. Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 10, 2020.
