6th Ave Breakfast Dining news Restaurant openings Tacoma dining

We’re in Phase 2! Here’s Pierce County restaurant dining rooms open NOW

Share

We’ve been waiting for what feels like an eternity, but Phase 2 for restaurant dining is finally here, announced this morning by Pierce County. This is the phase when restaurants in Pierce County can once again offer in-person dining inside their actual, real live dining rooms.

That doesn’t mean every restaurant is open. It just means that restaurants that choose to open for dining room service in Phase 2 are free to do so – as long as they follow the health guidelines established here by the Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department.

I’ve had an incredible number of restaurant owners reach out and ask me to compile a list. So that’s what I’ve done here. These are restaurants with dining rooms open for service.

TIPS: Check hours before you go. I’ve provided social media links below. Don’t call. They’re too busy to answer the phones.

RESTRICTIONS: Please note that dining parties are limited to 5 diners or fewer and restaurants must operate at 50 percent capacity, with no seating at the bar. Some restaurants are requiring masks. Bring your patience and treat your servers well. Remember, they’re trying hard and some of them have been out of work for two months. Please be nice to all restaurant workers. They’re lovely people and they deserve our kindness.

Here’s who is open by city and I’ve limited this list to restaurants open to in-person dining. If you want to find restaurants open for takeout, you can always check out my list here.

Happy eating! Restaurant owners – want to add your restaurant to my list? Email me at dinepiercecounty@gmail.com. Diners, you can send me tips, too, but please only send me links to social media posts from restaurants about openings. That helps me compile the info quickly. Thanks for helping me spread the good news about dining in Pierce County! Share this story!!
