Tacoma area restaurants open for 2020 Easter meal pickup, takeout, delivery
Restaurants might be closed for in-person dining thanks to Covid-19, but Tacoma-area restaurants still want you to have a nice Easter dinner or brunch. I’ve gathered a collection of menus and information about 2020 Easter takeout dinners for at-home dining. I know we’ll all miss the lavish Easter buffets with all-you-can guzzle mimosas, but at least one restaurant is offering a bonus pack of take-out mimosas for $15.
My Easter dining spreadsheet has all the details, but here’s a quick summary of some of the things I saw that made me want to pick up the phone and order.
Farm 12 in Puyallup, which is doing terrific work with curbside service and family-sized meals right now, is offering a glazed ham dinner for 4 for $60 and it includes the ham, garlic smashed potatoes, a spring salad, honey-glazed carrots and dessert of an angel food cake roll. A mini version of that meal that feeds 2 is only $30.
Table 47 in Gig Harbor is offering a brunch to-go pack that is making me a little weak in the knees. It includes scrambled eggs with chives and Beecher’s cheese, Hemplers bacon and sausage, potatoes with thyme butter, housebaked breads and pastries, locally-smoked salmon with bagels and pepper-whipped cream cheese, plus fresh fruit, homemade jams, yogurt and more. It’s $75 for 5, which is an amazing deal considering the description of this spread.
Carrs in Lakewood has a quiche breakfast with potatoes, fruit and the restaurant’s famous enormous cinnamon rolls. The restaurant says their brunch pack will feed 4-6, but knowing the typical portion sizes at Carrs, I’m betting that’s more like 8 people. It’s $65 for the brunch pack and you can add mimosas for the family for $15.
Below is a link that will take you directly to my spreadsheet for restaurants offering Easter meals. I update it daily. Restaurant owners – do you want to be included in my Easter spreadsheet? Email me details of your Easter dinner, price, a link to the menu, plus all ordering and pickup details to email@example.com. I prefer information comes from restaurant owners, but if you’re a diner and you have a link to an Easter menu, feel free to send it to me.
Did you know there are hundreds of Tacoma and Pierce County restaurants still offering takeout and delivery during the Covid-19 shutdown? I’ve got more than 200 restaurants that are serving now. Click the link below and you’ll be taken straight to the spreadsheet of restaurants serving everyday meals, or you can view the restaurants in a Google map created by Daniel Dye using my data. If you’re a restaurant owner, feel free to message me with what your restaurant is doing at firstname.lastname@example.org.
