This week’s conversation – where to get holiday drinks in Tacoma

A member of Where to Dine Pierce County had this question: Looking for a Tacoma bar with a fun holiday drink menu?

What ensued was a great post with all kinds of tips. Here are just a few. Join the conversation at Where to Dine Pierce County, the closed Facebook group that’s all about where to eat in the South Sound.

Steve Ramsey, owner of Stink Cheese + Meat in Tacoma’s St. Helens neighborhood, posted a picture of his restaurant’s holiday sippers. He’s got a hot buttered rum with a spicy finish, plus he’s advertising a London Fog latte.

Nancy Slocum gave this tip, “Lobster shop just announced a menu of holiday cocktails and appetizer specials.”

The recently reopened Forum in downtown Puyallup (with a sister location in downtown Tacoma) has a great new winter sipper menu. I’m partial to the Cranberry-Rosemary Collins ($10), but the shaken-until-frothy spiked eggnog martini ($9) doubles as a great dessert drink.
