Sunday is the game. You’re probably searching for something to bring because you realized tomorrow is coming a little too soon. These restaurants and bakeries do not disappointed.


Tacoma Baking Company has you covered with its giant Hilltop Club and a potato and pasta salad for  $56 that easily will feed 6 people. There’s a vegetarian version, too.  Order it online. LOCATION: 1316 Martin Luther King Jr Way, Tacoma.


This deli in Tacoma’s Sixth Avenue neighborhood is a legendary go-to for sandwiches. Did you know any of their subs can be turned into a giant 26-inch sandwich? Mike’s Deluxe, arguably one of the most popular sandwiches in Tacoma, is a screaming deal at $27.79. Other 26-inch versions of MSM sandwiches go for $21.79. Los Tamales, Tacoma’s best destination for a broad selection of handmade tamales, has a supremely awesome looking taco platter with 30 tacos, horchata, chips and salsa for $49.99. You must call ahead. LOCATION: 1018 72nd St, E., Tacoma; 253- 301-0849.


Another taco joint is selling a taco box. This one is also a pre-order. About 20 tacos with a choice of carne asada, carnitas, chicken, fish or more. Includes rice, beans, chips and salsa for $39.99. LOCATION: 10220 196th St. Ct. E., Graham; 253-875-1062.


Rico’s Tacos, a taco truck in Fircoma (it’s right on the border between Tacoma and Fircrest), is selling taco platters! The 23-taco party platter comes with a choice of steak, pork or chicken and it’s $30. LOCATION: 5015 Center St., Tacoma; 253-202-8197.

This Midland restaurant is known for its chicken and jojo potatoes and their sweet garlic buttermilk dipping sauce. I’m also a huge fan of their apple pie. They’ll be running a cool Superbowl special. Here are details, “Hi Sue, we are going to run a Super Bowl Special 20-piece chicken, w/40 jo’s, 8 Rolls & a 8oz sour cream for $29.95. The classic American diner with locations in Orting and South Hill is offering five bucks off its family fried chicken feast that comes with multiple sizes/configurations (listed at $30 to $38 on their website). Location and other details here.


Beefy’s Burgers in Tacoma’s Sixth Avenue neighborhood is advertising 10 classic burgers for $25. LOCATION: 3018 Sixth Ave. Tacoma; 253-301-1663.


Where to Dine Pierce County member Jefferson Mok notes in my dining Facebook group that Tho Tuong BBQ is a great place to pick up a bunch of roasted pork for the game.
