Welcome to Tacoma! We hope you have a great experience. Here’s a dining guide with restaurants that offer take-out. All of these restaurants are within a 10-minute drive of the Tacoma Convention Center, but most are much closer than that.
CALL BEFORE YOU GO: Snow accumulation has made dining out this weekend tough. I originally had 40 restaurants on this list, but I’ve confirmed more than 20 are closed this weekend due to snow. I put an asterisk below on restaurants I was not able to confirm as open. Otherwise, if not marked, I’ve confirmed the restaurant is open. However, call ahead because hours might vary due to road conditions. DINING STYLE: Restaurant capacity is limited, which is why this guide is a take-out guide. MASKS REQUIRED: Masks are required inside all restaurants and heavily enforced. You must provide your own mask, no exceptions. Our local culture is heavily in favor of mask wearing. DIETARY TIP: If you have a dining restriction, such as a vegan, keto or gluten-free diet, please do a search of the page for the terms “vegan,” “gluten free,” etc. I’ve noted where you can find food to meet your dietary needs.
Menu: Sandwiches and comfort food like Mac & Cheese, meatloaf, bangers & mash and Shepherd’s Pie. We are also featuring a Cajun menu for Mardi Gras – Crawfish Etouffee, Red Beans & Rice, Chicken Sausage Gumbo, Shrimp Po Boy and an amazing King Cake bread pudding.
Menu: Custom made pita sandwiches, salads and brown rice/quinoa bowls made fresh on a grill to order. For groups we have individually packaged “lunch boxes” that includes a pita, cookie and bag of chips.
Hours: 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Monday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday
Features: take-out and drive-thru, walk-up
Menu: Our beans come from a small roastery in Seattle, and the only place that uses them in the Tacoma area. Happy hour every day 11:00-1:00. Buy one get one half off. White chocolate mochas and energy drinks are a fan fave. Sandwiches from local businesses, snacks, bagels, etc.
Dietary tips: Vegan and gluten-free items
