Not everybody wants to cook on Thanksgiving, which is Nov. 25, 2021 this year. That’s less than three weeks, people.

I’m here to help with all your Thanksgiving needs with a list of places with take-out options, plus dine-in options in and around Tacoma and Pierce County. I’ve even got a restaurant with a 100 percent vegan take-out meal. There’s also fancy smoked meats available for to-go. Read on, people, and make your reservations or order your heat-at-home meals NOW.

This fancy Argentinian-themed steakhouse in Tacoma’s Sixth Avenue neighborhood is offering a take-and-reheat dinner. They are closed for dine-in service on Thanksgiving. Order fast, they will sell out.

This longtime Tacoma restaurant features the greatest hits of American diner eats and will have take-out Thanksgiving plates that are ready to eat at home, plus dine-in service. Reservations recommended.

THE CLIFF HOUSE 

The legendary Northeast Tacoma restaurant with a killer waterfront view will offer a seated Thanksgiving dinner from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Make reservations fast! They will sell out. 

Price: $45 for a traditional Thanksgiving meal, plus a la carte meals for $35-$69. 

Seating: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. 

Dinner menu: A la carte dinners, starters and desserts. The turkey dinner includes roasted turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, cranberries and vegetable ($45). This Westgate restaurant is having a seated Thanksgiving dinner that is dine-in only. And it’s perfect for a family of 5.

Price: $25 per dinner or $110 for a family meal that serves 5.

Serving: Dine-in service only from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Menu: A plated meal with a choice of roasted turkey, glazed ham or a cauliflower steak, plus a choice of two sides that include mashed potatoes, yams, stuffing, mac and cheese, roasted vegetables, plus a dessert choice of either pumpkin pie or creme brulee cheesecake.

COPPER CREEK INN

Ashford’s Copper Creek Inn is a bit of a drive, but there’s a Thanksgiving buffet waiting for you at the end. The buffet is for dine-in, and there’s also an option for a Thanksgiving take-out meal (call for details). 

Price: $29.95 per person for dine-in and $24.95 for to-go meals. 

Serving: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 25, 2021. 

Buffet menu: Oven-roasted turkey, ham, stuffing, cranberry sauce, mashed Yukon gold potatoes, gravy, candy yams, ravioli in cream sauce, green bean casserole, salmon dip, dinner rolls. The inn’s famous pie is for dessert, including blackberry and pumpkin.

The menu: Dinners are ordered a la carte. The Mill Thanksgiving plate includes roasted turkey with apple-walnut stuffing, ginger-orange cranberry sauce, buttermilk mashed potatoes, turkey gravy and creamy bacon Brussels sprouts ($28 per person; kid portion for $15).
